Get your Rubber Duckie from the Chamber of Commerce ahead of time or the day of. Then give him or her your own special touches in preparation for a Rubber Duckie Regatta.
Rubber Duckies will be placed in rain gutters full of water. Contestants will race one another by "coaxing" their Rubber Duckies along the rain gutter without being able to touch them.
Prizes were awarded for fastest duckies as well as most creative costumes for the duckies.
If you bought a rubber duckie at Oktoberfest 2011, hang on to them for a special reduced rate on rubber duckie races at our 2012 celebration! More information forthcoming.
Furthermore, contestants who come dressed up for Oktoberfest will get an extra "push" with the course being a little shorter for them - let's all come dressed for the 'Fest!
